Twenty Years Later
An old Tragic Love Company song from 1992/3, this appeared on a number of demo tapes. Some people may know the track as “A Little Too Much” which is innaccurate although it remains the most obvious title unless you know better! An electric track, it has a great bassline and rattles along with quite a bluesey American feel. With a very repetitive riff, it has a classic anthemic chorus and there is a riff mid-way through that is similar in style to some very early Oasis tracks. The lyrics seems to be either Kelly or another person wondering what the future will hold and whether they will succeed or fail. It seems to be quite a personal song written at the time when there was uncertainty as to whether the band would gain a record deal.
