The Clichés Are True
One of the strangest tracks that any of the Stereophonics have been involved in. The Cliches Are True is a track by dance band, Manchild, and for an unknown reason Kelly teamed with them to write the song, provide vocals and play guitar. An odd choice and seemingly Kelly wasn’t impressed with the result as he later pulled out of shooting the video. The lyrics are awful, the music uninspiring, it’s terrible in a word! It was released as a single in August 2000 and made no noticeable impression on the charts.
