Step On My Old Size Nines
One of Kelly’s favourite tracks! Appearing on Just Enough Education To Perform (track 4), this song was also released as the third single from the album in September ’00, reaching number 16 in the charts. Written at home in ten minutes whilst copying some CDs for Richard and Stuart, the song is a tale of two elderly people dancing. Originally it was going to be “step on my old size tens”, but it was changed to “nines” as it sounded better.
