Nothing Ever Changes

Dating from late 1991 or 1992, this rocking track was recorded at the Cwmaman Hut. It’s one of the best early songs the band wrote. A massive chunky riff carries the song, similar in style to Brother and as with loads of other songs from this time there’s a huge guitar solo – maybe Kelly felt at that time that without one a song wasn’t finished! The outro is spectacular and clearly very well practiced. Stuart’s drums are mixed right down and he puts in a great performance. The whole song fits together well and unlike I Ain’t Got The Time really feels like the finished article. It’s a very confident performance from the band.
