By far the most commercially accessible track on Just Enough Education To Perform, the track was released as a single in the summer of 2001 and reached number five in the charts. Writing in the sleeve notes to the album, Kelly says “Wrote the words or the story behind the words in San Francisco, after sitting in the back of a cab listening to the driver talking about, what he called, ‘corporate communism’. A very interesting man. I put the words and music together in a hotel room in Europe, in October ’99″. Just prior to the release of You Gotta Go There To Come Back, Kelly said in an interview that the track now “irritates” him, maybe explains its exclusion from recent setlists!
