19/02/08 - New Blog From Rich!
Nearly at the end of our Australasian tour and I gotta say that it's been very entertaining for us.

1st off the bat was Bangkok and the gig on the barge... which nearly didn't happen because of the tropical storms which seemed to arrive every 10mins during the soundcheck. These things are sent to try us after all. But the gig went on and it was cool to see we had a good following there, considering that the last time we were there, we blew up half of their countryside and stole their army (for the Bartender and the Thief Video ). So thanks for having us back and looking after us.

Then there was a short flight over to Singapore where we were amazed by how stunning the place was. The gig was set in a park in the middle of the city and it was one of the best crowds we've come across ever, so it looks like we'll be back in Singapore if they can sort out the beasties!

Back on the plane for a jaunt down to Perth and the 1st of the Oz shows up in Freemantle, what a great town that is and a rockin crowd to boot. Melbourne next and the late nights began to take their toll on us, don't know what it is about the Melbourne crowds but they seem so laidback, which is strange after the two wild gigs in Perth! So the only thing to do was to stay out till 8am to discuss why that is so.

Now we are in Sydney overlooking the Harbor bridge and the Opera house and looking forward to the rest of the gigs and enjoying the hospitality on offer here.
