If you're here, reading this I'm guessing you love Stereophonics? You love every chord from Performance & Cocktails, you felt proud when Dakota went to #1, you were nearlly brought to tears by the first time you saw the boys live. Because you love them from right now all the way back to the beginning, back in 1997 when Word Gets Around was released.

That may have been the beginning for Stereophonics, but it wasn't the beginning of their journey. The man most commonly known as Nickster has spent hours and hours researching all the info he could find on the band dating back to 1986. A lot longer before you were singing Tramps Vest in the shower! This site has everything you want to know and even more you don't know about what happened before 'Phonics!
