I'm Looking For Myself
Written sometime prior to late 1992 during the Blind Faith days, this track appears on a Blind Faith demo tape discovered in early 2005. The song opens with a very guitar riff played on an electric guitar, before Stuart lightly takes the beat on. And then the chorus crashes in and turns this relatively quiet song into a rocking monster. Lyrically this is similar to some tracks on You Gotta Go There To Come Back in terms of the personal nature of the song, with Kelly seemingly questioning his own abilities as a singer/songwriter and apparently wondering whether the band really can have a successful career.
